 | Two centuries ago, Horatio Nelson defeated the combined French and Spanish fleet at The Cape of Trafalgar. HMS Victory, his flagship, must surely be the most famous and romantic ship of all time.
During the period of restoration 1922-1927, it was necessary to remove materials from Victory’s structure in order to return her to her Trafalgar configuration.
Upon completion a quantity of copper and timber remained and it is from this ever diminishing supply of material that a handful of British master craftsmen are producing beautiful, imaginative pieces for future generations to treasure.
