'This unique compass design was influenced by a trip to the Amazon Rainforest where our pewtersmith worked on a voluntary conservation project for 5 weeks. Surrounded by an array of unusual animals and fauna when not working, she produced lots of photographs and sketches to use in her designs.

These compasses were developed from the bird of paradise flower which naturally grows throughout the jungle.'

Each compass is individually handcrafted.
