'This wine stand complements my closed serviette rings, which were inspired by the graceful movements of a ballet dancer. I wanted the pieces to reflect the flowing lines of the dancer's arms as she moved from one position to the next.

The tonal colours of the slate complement that of the pewter and are a successful combination. I have used reclaimed welsh slate which not only adds to the character of the piece, but is also environmentally friendly.'
