General
Please remember that each
product you buy will be individually hand-crafted
for you by one of our heroes, each one a master
craftsperson. We're not a supermarket or large
department store that holds lots of mass-produced
stock! As such, whilst we don't guarantee a real quick
48 hour delivery, we do guarantee that the
product you receive will be high quality, unique
and individually made - in short, well worth
waiting for!
Delivery Charges
We will deliver your Unique
British Gifts to just about anywhere in the
world by Royal Mail or UPS. By each product, you will see its carriage charge
band. Click the "more details" link next to this
and a box will pop up to show you the delivery
cost of that product to some of our most popular
delivery destinations. The delivery charge is
added to your order at checkout when you specify your
delivery address. Carriage costs are calculated on
the total weight of your shipment. Please note
that carriage costs for shipments above 30kg
(66lb) will be quoted separately.
Delivery Times
Each product will have an
approximate delivery time denoted in its
description. This is a guide to the maximum
time you should allow for the goods to arrive
in your country of destination. In the unlikely
event that, for any reason, we cannot deliver the
product within the time shown, we will notify you
by e-mail to inform you. You will then have the
option to accept the product with a new delivery
time or to cancel the order and receive a full,
unequivocal refund.
Customs/Import Duty
When ordering goods from Unique British Gifts for delivery outside of the
European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied
once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs
clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot
predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country,
so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Additionally, please note that when ordering from Unique British Gifts, you are
considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations
of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how
information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international
customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that
cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs
authorities.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift" but the cost of the item
is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the
value of the gift item directly on the package.
