Shopping at Unique British Gifts
Making
a purchase online
Making a purchase at Unique
British Gifts could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart
by clicking "Add to Cart" by the product you wish
to purchase. This
will place the items into your shopping cart and
you will get a screen that says CONFIRM; CHECKOUT;
CANCEL. If you wish to buy more than one item,
click on CONFIRM and it
will take you back to the department you just left
so that you can continue your shopping trip.
You
can view, amend and remove the contents of your
cart at any time by clicking on 'View Cart'. Once
you have bought all the items you require, click
on "Checkout". You will see a screen that lists
all of the items that you have purchased with a
total figure at the bottom.
Then click on the NEXT button to enter your name
and address details. Continue to click on the NEXT
button to move to the next screen(s). You will
come to a page denoted as the Sage Pay Secure Server, which is where you enter
all your credit card information.
Payment
Sage Pay are our on-line
payment partners and they will scrutinize the
credit card information you enter. You will spot the yellow padlock in the bottom
right of your screen confirming that the data you
enter is secure (for more details on credit card
security,
is any data you enter that Sage Pay believes to be
inaccurate, your order will not process properly
and you will be asked to re-enter the correct
data. We accept all major credit cards. If you are shopping from
outside the UK, place your order
and your credit card company will convert the
transaction to your own currency.
Receipt/Order
Confirmation
Once your transaction is
complete, you will receive an on-screen receipt
which you can print out.
You will then receive a
Transaction Confirmation email from Sage Pay with a
transaction reference number and also one from
Unique British Gifts with your order number. Please
keep these emails for future reference.
This is to indicate that we have received your
order. It does not indicate that a contract exists
between us.
We will indicate acceptance
of your order, and hence a contract between us,
when we send you an invoice. We have included this
term to protect us in case a mistake has been made
in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced
goods, or we are no longer able to supply a
particular product for some reason. In the case of
a change of price, we will always contact you
first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Contract
Your contract begins with Unique British
Gifts on despatch of your order.
