Returns Policy
We understand that occasionally customers wish to
return products to us and we are happy to meet our
obligations to refund or exchange according to our policy
below. However, we would ask you to remember that
the product you order will have been lovingly &
individually handcrafted specifically for you by a
small and dedicated producer and not simply picked
from a mass of disposable products in a huge
warehouse. We hope that your appreciation of this
will enable us to keep our returns to these small
producers to a minimum. Many thanks for your
understanding.
Before returning any goods, please e-mail
returns@uniquebritshgifts.com,
quoting your order number and reason for returning
the goods and wait for a returns authorisation
code and returns delivery address details.
When you send your item back
to us with your code, we'll process the returned item then notify
you via e-mail of your refund or exchange. For
refunds, you can expect a
refund in the same form of payment originally used
for purchase within 30 days of our receiving
your return.
Cancelling your order
You have the right to withdraw from
the purchase of an item within 7 working days of the day after the date the item
is delivered. To cancel your purchase within this period,
please e-mail
returns@uniquebritshgifts.com,
quoting your order number.
Returning Unsuitable
Goods
If goods are being returned to us as unsuitable
for their intended purpose, you MUST inform us of
your intention to return them to us within 7 days
of receipt of the goods by e-mail to returns@uniquebritshgifts.com,
quoting your order number, for us to issue an
authorisation code. The cost and method of
returning the goods to us must be borne/arranged
by you and the item must be back with us within 30
days of purchase, unused, undamaged, in its
original condition and packaging. Any items
returned to us which fail to comply with the above
may affect our ability to issue a full refund.

Returning Incorrect Goods
If we've somehow
sent you an incorrect item, e-mail to
returns@uniquebritshgifts.com,
quoting your order number for a returns
authorisation code and returns delivery address
details. Then send the incorrect item back
to us and we will refund the price you paid for
the item and your carriage cost (if you insert proof of
this cost inside the package). Please see
"Exceptions" below.
Returning Damaged or
Defective Goods

If the goods were damaged
in transit
If you take delivery of a Unique British Gifts package and the contents have been
damaged in transit, you can return the item(s) to us within 30 days of receipt
for exchange, providing you notify us of such
damage within 7 days of receipt of the goods.

If the item is defective
If you take delivery of a Unique British Gifts
and discover the item(s) to be defective in any
way, you can return the item(s) to us within 30 days of receipt
for exchange, providing you notify us of any
defect within 7 days of receipt of the goods.

Exceptions
Each 1805 Pen is a numbered limited edition,
accompanied with an individually numbered Certificate of Provenance. As such, it
may be returned only if the pen mechanics are proved to be defective. In this
instance, the mechanics will be replaced and the original pen returned.
For hygiene reasons, we can only accept the return of pierced earrings if
they are found to be faulty.
Any item customised to your own specification cannot be returned for any reason.
